VERSAFOAM-HF™
Patients’ preferences, VERSAFOAM-HF vs. other formulations*
The vast majority of patients taking the post-study questionnaire rated the physical characteristics of the foam as excellent or good. The foam characteristics of no residue, stain-free, quick drying, and fragrance-free were rated as excellent or good by at least 95% of patients. The attributes of "easy to apply" and "non dripping" were rated as excellent or good by 89% and 79% of patients, respectively.
*The efficacy and tolerability of clobetasol propionate foam (clobetasol foam) in treating psoriatic lesions at nonscalp sites was evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study of 279 patients with mild to moderate plaque-type psoriasis. In this study, the patient-administered questionnaire provided insight into patients’ preferences of foam versus other formulations including gel, cream and ointment to treat psoriasis. The patient’s poststudy questionnaire was completed by 137 patients in the clobetasol foam group and 138 patients in the placebo group.
VERSAFOAM-EF™
Patient Assessment of VERSAFOAM-EF Characteristics*3
In a post-study questionnaire, patients were asked to rank foam on various characteristics based on their experience. The ranking ranged from strongly disagree to strongly agree. This graph shows the success rate of VERSAFOAM-EF (percentage of patients who agreed or strongly agreed that VERSAFOAM-EF had the type of characteristics described).

* The efficacy and tolerability of desonide foam in treating mild to moderate atopic dermatitis was evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study of 581 patients. In this study, the post-study patient administered questionnaire provided insight into patients’ preferences for foam versus other formulations including lotion, cream, gel, ointment and solution to treat atopic dermatitis.
