LUXÍQ® is the VERSAFOAM-HF™ formulation of betamethasone valerate.
LUXÍQ is a medium-potency topical corticosteroid indicated for relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses of the scalp, such as psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis.
Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids has caused reversible hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) suppression with potential for glucocorticosteroid insufficiency after withdrawal of treatment.
The most common adverse events associated with the use of LUXÍQ are mild and transient burning, stinging or itching at the application site.
