EVOCLIN® is a proven, easy-to-apply, once-a-day prescription acne medication that delivers the antibiotic clindamycin in VERSAFOAM-HF™.
EVOCLIN is indicated for topical application in the treatment of acne vulgaris. EVOCLIN can be used anywhere acne appears on the body. Clindamycin is the most widely prescribed topical antibiotic for acne in the last 20 years.
EVOCLIN is contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to preparations containing clindamycin or lincomycin, or a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis. Diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, and psuedomembranous colitis have been reported with systemic and rarely with topical clindamycin.
The most common adverse events in clinical trials were headache (3%) and application-site reactions including burning (6%), itching (1%), and dryness (1%).
